Blue Mountain Hospital has three Labor-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) suites. The rooms are equipped with central monitoring, so that staff and providers are able monitor the patients closely. The rooms have television and equipment for patients to watch DVD's.
We encourage family support. There is a reclining chair for the father of the child or the support person. We offer flexible visitation for family and friends.
During your stay, we suggest mothers keep their babies with them as much as possible. Our staff will show you and your husband how to feed, bathe, diaper, and care for your infant. We want you to feel comfortable when you return home.
Critical & emergency care
Blue Mountain Hospital Emergency Department, with it's seven bays, is able to receive and manage patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. We take care of all ages of patients, from infants to the elderly.
We have providers and staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week ready to assist to your needs. We have dedicated, well trained and competent staff. Our ER Director is Board Certified in Emergency care. All of the providers that work in ER have worked in ER for years.
The services offered in the emergency department ranges from: chemically unblocking a coronary artery of a patient that is having a heart attack, setting a broken bone, managing the care of a child in respiratory distress and/ or treating a patient with a stroke.
